Fusion FC NKY Financial Aid Program

Fusion FC Financial Aid Program Introduction

At Fusion FC, we try to keep the cost of participation as low as possible. However, we know that for some families those costs can still be hard to handle. Fusion FC has established The Players Scholarship Fund to help families who need a little help to cover those costs and, in some cases, we can even provide full scholarships.

If your player is currently on a Fusion FC select level team, they have been offered a spot on a select team following a tryout, or are experiencing a financial hardship and you are concerned about being able to afford the registration fees then the Club may be able to help.

The amount of financial aid assistance the club can offer will depend on your family’s overall situation. Generally speaking, full scholarships are reserved for families with a total household income of $50,000 per year or less. However, there can be additional circumstances in which the club might offer a scholarship to a player whose family income is higher than that $50K per year amount. Partial scholarships and other financial aid will be offered on the basis of both a household income assessment and an assessment of additional circumstances.

In order to fully assess each request, the Financial Aid application will include questions about your household income, the number of dependent children in your home and other questions about your current situation. Getting all of this information will allow us to assess your level of need and determine how we can help you. When you complete the application form, you’ll also be asked to submit copies/scans of W2 forms and 1040 Federal Return forms for any adult members of your household whose income counts toward your total household income.

Once the application is complete and your document copies have been submitted you may be contacted by the Club to discuss the situation in detail.

The following questions are similar to what will appear on the Aid Application:

  • What is your current family household income? This should be the combined income of any adult members of the household.
  • How many minor dependent children are there in your household?
  • Beyond the limitations of your family income, what additional circumstances are there that would make it difficult for you to cover the Fusion FC registration costs for your child? Things like: current medical bills, temporary loss of employment or temporary reduction of income, divorce, etc.

Sincerely,
