Fusion FC NKY Refund Policy

COMPETITIVE/SELECT PROGRAM

The competitive program has a stringent refund policy because a player’s acceptance has the effect of denying another player an opportunity to play on a competitive team. Additionally, costs accrue to the Club for services provided to the team based on player headcount. Accordingly, fees are not refundable and not transferable. Fees for participation in the club cover the entire soccer year. A player who accepts an invitation to play with the Club commits to the full soccer year.


Non-Refundable Charges

Deposits are always non-refundable


Mid-Year Exits

Any U09-U14 family exiting the Club mid-year will be responsible for 50% of the Seasonal Year Fee, plus a $150 penalty for early exit. Any U15-U19 family exiting the Club mid-year will be responsible for a $150 penalty for early exit.


Effective 2025-26: Players who choose to decommit at any point after the beginning of the seasonal year (August 1st) for any reason, including players suspended from the program, will be responsible for a minimum of 50% of the Seasonal Year Fee, plus a $150 penalty for early exit.


The only exceptions are (1) In the event that a player has a season ending injury, the board may consider a partial refund after review of records provided by the treating physician or facility and (2) For families that move during the season. The Board may consider a partial refund in these circumstances on a case by case basis.


Players Under Scholarship

Any player under a scholarship with the Club who decommits may incur a financial responsibility to the Club once the seasonal year has begun.


*The Club will not release a player to another organization who has an outstanding financial obligation.


RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Except for season ending medical or relocation requests, fees are not refundable and not transferable. The club will grant a refund if we cannot place your player on any age-appropriate team.


CAMP/CLINIC PROGRAMS

Fees are not refundable and not transferable. The club will grant a refund if we cannot place your player on any age-appropriate group. Refunds for reasons of friend requests or carpooling accommodations will not be made. Once the camp begins no refunds will be given.


MEDICAL AND RELOCATION REFUND REQUESTS

In the event that a player is injured during the season and cannot play or practice for the remainder of the season, the Board may consider providing a partial refund. Families must submit a written request with a physician note to the Registrar.


In the event that a family relocates out of the area during the season the Board may consider a partial refund on a case-by-case basis. Families must submit a written request to the Registrar.


Please note that refundable amounts are time-sensitive as costs accrue to the Club for services provided to the team based on player headcount each month. Consequently, the refundable amount will be affected by the date you request the refund, not the date of the event.

Refund requests must be e-mailed to registrar@fusionfcnky.com for board review. Coaches cannot make a decision to refund a player. You will receive a decision in writing. Please allow 30 days for a response.
